Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra, a highly-rated and functional Gen 4 robotic vacuum and mop is a well-built machine. The $1400 list price could be a bit steep, but it's often available to make it more affordable. The unit is stunning and the base takes up little room in the corner of your home.
The design of this robot addresses some of the issues we've experienced with other robotic mops and vacuum cleaners, such as brushes that get tangled up in hair and the brush not being able to reach bare flooring underneath furniture. The sweeping capabilities are impressive on carpets and bare flooring. The vacuum/mop has a high level debris pickup and the mop can quickly saturate bare flooring.
The mops have a sophisticated system that cleans the edges of walls and around furniture. The robot avoids most bulkier obstacles like toys, food bowls, shoes, and backpacks without any problem. But it can get stuck or become entangled with smaller and more compact objects, such as shoelaces USB cables, and pens.
This robot was used to vacuum and mop hardwood flooring, FLOR carpet tiles and pile rugs in an open-plan home. With FREO Mind enabled, it vacuumed and mopped the 90m2 area in about 170 minutes which is about the average for Gen 4.
A number of features set this robot apart from others in its class. The Freo X Ultra has a number of software, sensors, and hardware improvements engineered to keep it at the top of its game. It is said to have autonomy of 3.5 hours for environments up to 260m2.

The app is able to detect areas that are heavily soiled and devise a streamlined cleaning route, and dispensing detergent or raising the pads on carpet.
Other impressive features include a clear display on the robot’s underside and an access door for docks that is convenient to open. The Freo X Ultra vacuum and mop is ideal for apartment and home owners who want to reduce their chores and keep their home clean.

Its 8.5 cm height lets it reach under furniture with low levels. Front cameras and infrared sensor assist in navigating obstacles, thresholds and obstacles with ease.
In our test of how well it cleaned baking soda near corners and on baseboards The Scout RX3 was impressive. Its suction was less powerful than the other robots, however it was silent and moved swiftly. It didn't mop, and its removable cleaning pad was difficult to attach. It also couldn't handle dried-on dirt.
robot vacuum deals is a little on the basic side, lacking advanced features like multiple cleaning modes and automated scheduling. It is compatible with Alexa however its voice commands don't seem to be very clear or responsive. It's also a little erratic when it comes back to the charging station following a run. Other robots can follow a wall or trace the previous route however the RX3 is a mess until it gives up.
Another issue we encountered was with its intelligent features, specifically the mapping function and digital keep-out zones. While it did a decent job of avoiding our shoes and furniture legs, it got easily hung up by cables and socks and it was not able to manage the tassels of rugs. We didn't include the Scout RX3 on our Best Buy list. With a decent price and a dazzling performance, the Scout RX3 is worth considering when you're looking for an alternative to the traditional uprights.
